WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Archbishop Stepinac High School President Tom Collins has been selected to lead the 15th annual White Plains St. Patrick's Day Parade.

As grand master, Collins will usher the March 10 parade along with help from other locals, including Kathleen Cooney Bonistall, Dennis Doherty, Timothy Donohue, Debbie Bodnar Kennedy Flooks, Michael Henderson and Maura Henderson Lynch.

Collins, a White Plains native, graduated from Stepinac in 1979, earned a business degree from Iona College and was then ordained at St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers in 1992. He has been involved with the White Plains private school since 1995, teaching, coaching golf, and spearheading its 2010 capital campaign.

The St. Patrick's Day celebration will kick off with a 9 a.m. mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. The parade will begin at noon on Mamaroneck Avenue and turn onto Main Street. Participants are then invited to immerse themselves in Irish music, dance, bar sports and food at various downtown pubs.
